Summary of Position: As National Account Manager for Morphe you will be joining a growing team with a strong cross-functional focus. Your role will be responsible for the growth and success of our wholesale distribution within the UK and Scandinavia. The position will oversee omnichannel trade marketing initiatives, merchandising, events and other wholesale and sales projects while providing ongoing support, building & maintaining relationships with retailer’s teams and improve customer experience. This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week at a work location (our Marylebone office, stores, customer sites etc) and 2 days from home.

Principle Accountabilities:
- ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT (50%)
- Create and implement wholesale customer plans to deliver brand vision, sales and budgeted growth objectives.
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with all buyers and stakeholders and lead retailer strategy meetings to proactively deliver positive outcomes for all.
- Ensure all internal stakeholder functions contribute positively to retailer meetings.
- Oversee the successful delivery of in-store activities that drive brand awareness, growth and sales.
- Define productive assortments per retailer aligned with brand strategy, analysing category success and reacting to trends and guarantee the consistency of the product assortment by store.
- In partnership with VM, ensure the flawless execution of merchandising in store, to ensure maximised sales and visual brand impact.
- TRADE MARKETING (30%)
- Negotiate and implement strong trade marketing plans with strategic retailers focussing on an omni-channel experience in line with brand and business objectives.
- Partner with retailers to understand best practices and opportunities with their customers and platforms.
- Analyse KPIs including return-on-investment on all campaigns and opportunities.
- Partner with internal local and global teams to capitalise on opportunities to drive sales and raise awareness.
- Ensure agreed product launches are implemented in line with company strategy.
- Budget Management (plan, track spends and process invoices).
- Full ownership of marketing budgets per retailer.
- FORECASTING & PLANNING (10%)
- Accurately forecast sales, inventory needs and profit of the brand across key accounts, with support from the local and global Operations teams.
- Partnering with Operations team to ensure successful management of account inventories, replenishment and merchandising.
- Partner with Planning team on building accurate SKU-level forecasts on core and newness, providing business insights to inform decisions.
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (5%)
- Support on effective negotiation of multi-year wholesale account contracts, delivering profitable business growth by following the company forecasting and financial planning process.
- Support on the execution of premium space execution in-store, in line with the Morphe vision, to ensure sales, profits and share of voice are maximised and all FORMA accounts deliver the brand’s visual impact aspirations.
- Partner with Senior National Account Manager to identify new wholesale accounts, in line with the Morphe expansion strategy.
- REPORTING (5%)
- Weekly / Monthly sales reporting across all accounts, including SKU-level forecast and sell-out data.
- Track and report on applicable KPIs, defining and utilising insights to build continued brand awareness, growth, sales and ranking.
- Deliver all relevant sales and trade marketing reporting, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Update sales forecasts in line with Morphe schedules and maintain budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Key Working Relationships: Wholesale, PR & Marketing, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Demand Planning.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Professional experience in a retail and/or digital environment with responsibility for driving omnichannel marketing campaigns, ideally in the beauty market.
- Prior experience in managing strategic accounts within a fast-paced, retail environment, strongly preferred.
- International experience with expanding markets highly advantageous.
- Prior experience of successfully project managing the roll-out of new bricks & mortar wholesale partnerships advantageous.
- An exceptional negotiator, with proven commercial acumen and extensive prior management of sales plans and budgets.
- Highly creative with a keen sense of brand and industry awareness, and the ability to create and deliver effective marketing plans.
- Sound understanding of marketing and merchandising, with the proven ability to manage and deliver sales through wholesale partners.
- Must possess strong management, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with field employees.
- An affinity to the brand position and vision and the ability to communicate that effectively to others.
- Highly analytical, with advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent MS Word, PowerPoint skills essential, as well as presentation and project management skills.
- Confident and highly energetic approach.
