Space 8 Recruitment are pleased to be partnering a thriving Accountancy Practice in Warwick in search of an experienced Client Manager. This Practice has been established for over 40 years and is growing due to an increasing demand from new and existing clients, which has led to this new position being created.
The Company
This is a four Partner Practice with around 25-30 staff and two offices.
The Role
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understanding clients' businesses and providing tailored advice.
- Ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Reviewing and finalising accounts, tax returns, and other financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and other compliance documents.
- Possessing strong technical skills in accounting, tax, and relevant software.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members.
- Overseeing the work of other team members and providing guidance.
- Conducting performance reviews and supporting team development.
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and business growth.
- Contributing to the firm's overall business development strategy.
- Managing client billing and work-in-progress (WIP).
Please note this role is office-based.
What are we looking for?
- You must have a minimum of 3-4 years' audit experience at Manager level.
- You must be ACCA or ACA Qualified.
