The London office of a US-owned event and meeting planning company seeks a Contract & Sourcing Manager for a busy role reporting into their US office. As the sourcing lead and first point of contact, you will liaise extensively with their corporate clients to understand their requirements, draft meeting specifications, send out leads to European hotels, review their proposals including space requirements and currency conversions, and negotiate the contract.
This position requires substantial knowledge and experience within event and meeting management. You will have:
- Strong understanding of hotel proposals and contracts
- Excellent negotiation skills
- The ability to set and manage budgets
