Kickstart your Hilton career as Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Executive! The Cluster Group, Meetings & Events team is looking for a Cluster GME Sales Executive. This is a unique opportunity to work in our dedicated team that is clustered over three Hilton properties.
As a Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Executive, you are responsible for selling Groups and Events for cluster properties Hilton The Hague, Hilton Rotterdam, and Doubletree Royal Parc Soestduinen. The work location is in Hilton Rotterdam, but you are expected to travel to The Hague and Soestduinen sporadically. Working hours are usually from 09:00 – 17:00 and from Monday to Friday. This can vary sometimes depending on events, and starting/finishing an hour earlier or later could be discussed.
Furthermore, you are involved in:
- Handling the Groups and Event selling process until the contract stage
- Being responsible for the communication and active follow-up with the guest
- Ensuring a smooth handover of the contracted groups
- Creating opportunities to maximize revenue and add value to the booking
- Facilitating appointments and site inspections with the guests if needed
- Ensuring clear and detailed communication with the involved departments
- Participating proactively in selling activities such as Bring Back Old Business, key prospects, Sales Blitz Days
- Consistently updating the information in the system
- Conducting after-sales conversations to get feedback on the event experience of the client and identify future business potential
What we are looking for?
Are you proactive and detail-oriented? We are looking for a sales-oriented and hands-on Sales Executive with superb communication skills. Furthermore, the following would describe you:
- 1-2 years of experience in events
- Enjoying supporting the operational departments in the implementation of events if necessary
- A commercial mindset with strong sales, administrative, and organizational capabilities
- Eager to learn, a positive mindset and strong communication skills
- Commitment to providing high-level service
- Fluency in English; Dutch is an advantage
- Living in the area of Rotterdam
- In possession of the right documents to work in the Netherlands
Even greater if you have:
- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems such as Delphi Fdc, OnQ R&I, and OnQ PM
- Previous working experience within Hilton Worldwide hotels
- Degree in a related field
