Job Spec:
- Overall IT experience of 10-15 years with about 10 years in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologies
- Strong experience as Business Analyst with a strong technical background, working closely with IT teams to implement solutions
- Uses data analysis and reporting tools to provide insights into business performance
- Excellent domain experience in Insurance
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Proficient in development and documenting solution requirements, including specifications, business cases, creating wireframes and report templates
- Experience in interviewing stakeholders, analysing business needs, and documenting requirements for new systems or improvements
- Excellent experience in consulting assignments and eliciting business requirements
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and good knowledge of the AWS ecosystem
- Exposure to specialty lines (e.g., financial institutions, cyber, political risk, M&A insurance) is highly preferred
- Understanding of the reinsurance value chain (facultative, treaty, binder, slip creation, bordereaux)
- Some experience in the ETL area is preferred
