As Lead E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) Controls Engineer you will focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated control systems, often within industrial settings. You will work with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control software to ensure processes run efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Creating control system designs, including hardware and software components, for various industrial processes.
- Instrumentation: Selecting, installing, and calibrating instruments used to measure and monitor process variables like temperature, pressure, and flow.
- Control Systems: Developing and implementing control strategies, often using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Testing and Commissioning: Ensuring that control systems function correctly by testing, calibrating, and commissioning the systems.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing issues with control systems and instrumentation, often as part of planned maintenance programs.
