I'm currently working with a highly respected, award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy in central London, who are looking to add a Civil Design Engineer to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its innovative work across residential, education, arts and urban regeneration projects. They have a lovely office, a great team culture, and a strong pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
- Design surface and foul water drainage systems, including SUDS
- Carry out earthwork volume calculations
- Prepare Section 104, 106, 38 and 278 submissions
- Coordinate build-over agreements
- Use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
You'll be working on your own smaller projects while supporting larger schemes under the guidance of experienced senior engineers. There's a good balance of autonomy and support here, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

- 1-2 years experience in a similar civil engineering design role
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience with drainage design software (MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow)
