Are you an experienced Credit Analyst with a background in capital markets? We’re working with a global financial services firm that is expanding its Credit Risk team following a period of sustained growth. These are additional hires to support increased activity across the business, offering strong career development in a high-performing environment.

The Opportunity:

You’ll play a key role in the assessment and management of credit risk across a diverse global client base, including corporates, institutions, and counterparties involved in financial and commodity markets. This is a commercially focused role where your insights will help drive informed risk decisions and protect the business against potential exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis of existing and prospective clients
• Present well-researched recommendations for credit approvals and renewals
• Monitor macroeconomic trends and assess their impact on counterparty risk
• Work closely with front office and risk teams to align on credit decisions
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of credit risk frameworks, policies, and procedures

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in credit risk analysis within a capital markets environment
• Excellent understanding of corporate financial statements
• Prior exposure to commodities markets is highly desirable
• Confident communicator with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
• Highly organised, commercially minded, and able to work under pressure

What’s on Offer:

• Base salary between £55,000 – £80,000, depending on experience
