Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. This role is responsible for providing technical support to employees and end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-users via ticketing system, email, phone, or in-person support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365, Windows, Mac OS, and common business applications.
- Maintain and update asset inventory, documentation, and technical procedures.
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams when necessary.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes (user accounts, hardware setup, access permissions).
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
- Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts as needed.
