The Role
We are recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join our busy team based at our UKI head office in Runcorn, Cheshire. You may already be a HRBP looking for your next challenge, or a Senior HR Advisor looking for progression and the opportunity to manage your own business areas and senior stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for providing high quality and commercial HR partnering to business leaders and managers in the organisation, ensuring successful delivery of strategic people outcomes as well as providing coaching, support and challenge to managers on all parts of the employee lifecycle including complex employee relations issues, talent and succession, learning and development, organisation design and reward.
This is a really varied role, which will offer the successful candidate opportunity to get involved in some really interesting projects to further their personal development and make a real difference to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an effective and proactive working relationship between HR and allocated business areas, sourcing and delivering appropriate solutions to meet the business requirements.
- Provide managers with sound advice, coaching and guidance on all aspects of employment and management to ensure consistency of practice, fairness and equality to enhance employee engagement.
- Support managers in dealing with complex employee relations issues to ensure sustainable and appropriate outcomes.
- Working alongside our Talent Acquisition and L&D teams, ensuring the business is able to attract, develop and retain the best available talent.
- Provide a positive contribution to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with corporate objectives, legislation and best practice.
- Work alongside HR colleagues and management to maximise employee engagement, ensuring positive and constructive dialogue is maintained that will minimise employee relation issues and increase commitment and engagement.
- Challenge HR ways of working with solution focused ideas through networking, researching and understanding developments in the latest concepts and thinking of HR that lead to continuously improving the HR service to the business.
- Undertake project work to continuously drive forward and improve our HR service to the business and our employees.
- Review HR data to identify trends and issues, and drive appropriate actions and interventions with people managers in the business areas.
Experience Required
- Strong generalist HR experience gained in fast paced and commercial environments.
- Extensive ER experience including managing highly complex cases through to completion.
- Experienced and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working with data.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to challenge and drive for results.
