Our OEM Client based in Sutton Coldfield is searching for a New Parts Readiness Analyst to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 10th July 2026. Umbrella Pay Rate: £28.19 per hour.

Trading Division (TD) is an area within Import and Export Operations (IEO) which supports the development of new and existing markets through the construction of global supply chain networks, supplying products for vehicles built in the UK and overseas. Trading Division has a key role to play to ensure that our client reinforces itself as a truly global company.

This role is responsible for the operations launch readiness of all new parts sourced through Trading Division, both imports and exports. Ensuring the TD warehouse operations are ready to receive, process and ship new part introductions from inbound delivery out to plant in the most efficient and sustainable way possible.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Capture and track all new parts to be sourced through Trading Division.
  • Agree inbound and outbound packaging specifications for all new parts (EU1121 / INT1121), working with International Packaging team.
  • Ensure all key attributes have been agreed and added to a central tracker, such as inbound and outbound pack factors, repack instructions, weights and dimensions for warehouse storage, dangerous goods, pilferable, returnable stillages, shelf life and so on.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across key functions including TD Imports Commercial and Operations teams, International Packaging team, suppliers and Plant operations.
  • Monitor first new part deliveries to check against agreed specification.
  • Measure success of new part repack instructions.
  • Lead launch review meetings to present and drive status.
  • Champion the reduction of packaging C02e.
  • Create, maintain and present all relevant performance metrics.
  • Support TD Imports Commercial team on operational content during their quotation phase, where required.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by the line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a supply chain, warehouse operations or packaging role.
  • An individual with a continuous improvement mindset, problem solving skills and the ability to challenge existing thinking.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and tracking processes.
  • Proven track record in successful stakeholder management.
  • A results driven individual who demonstrates drive, tenacity and perseverance.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
