Job Description
Our client is a data centre investment firm and is expanding. With a strategic vision to identify, acquire, and enhance land across Europe for data centre development or divestment, they are actively deploying £300–£500 million in capital across the UK and continental Europe.
This is a newly created role for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and help build out a robust pipeline of data centre-ready sites across the region. You’ll join a small but highly experienced team including leading real estate and hyperscale data centre experts.
What You’ll Do
- Originate & evaluate sites across Europe and the UK (industrial, farmland, brownfield) suitable for hyperscale data centres
- Lead or support end-to-end transactions – from sourcing, financial modelling, diligence, structuring, and negotiation to post-acquisition asset enablement
- Assess infrastructure viability (power, fibre, zoning) and drive value creation strategies pre- and post-acquisition
- Work closely with external partners, local brokers, utilities, and government contacts
- Act as a trusted representative in market engagements – from landowners in rural regions to hyperscaler executives and policy officials
- Participate in 2–4 deals per year, helping manage and advance a robust pipeline of 40–50 active opportunities
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in real estate investment, private equity, or infrastructure with a strong record of deal execution
- Solid exposure to data centres, digital infrastructure, or adjacent asset classes
- Strong grasp of financial modelling and underwriting (Excel proficiency is a must – you will be tested)
- Comfort working across a range of stakeholders – farmers, governments, corporate tech buyers
- A collaborative mindset, adaptable approach, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-trust environment
- Bonus points for a second language (especially German or Italian) and experience managing assets post-transaction
The Culture
- High-growth, entrepreneurial pace
- Autonomy and visibility – your ideas matter here
- Collegial, non-hierarchical team – no “sharp elbows”
- Dynamic office in the heart of Mayfair surrounded by some of London’s best restaurants, shops, and hotels
- Informal social culture – regular team lunches and drinks
Benefits
- Competitive base salary
- Bonus
- Private Health Cover
- Pension
