Primaire Consulting are partnered with a highly popular and growing FMCG Private Label food manufacturer in appointing a Foodservice KAM for the business. With offices in the North and South of England, the company is highly sought after and puts a focus on career development, offering an autonomous and entrepreneurial working environment. The role aims to play a pivotal part in executing the company's growth strategy for the South. Responsibilities:

  • Propose, agree, and effectively manage sales budgets and promotional spends to support identified sales strategies within the account base.
  • Proactively manage specific customers to optimise net sales and gross margin.
  • Accurately forecast and report on customer sales, implementing remedial action plans when a risk to sales is identified.
  • Critically evaluate the company's product range within customers to ensure maximised gross margin.
  • Identify and secure new profitable business opportunities within the customer base.
  • Complete a monthly report detailing performance and key actions for the month ahead.
  • Ensure specific customer account plans are created, developed, and maintained.
  • Analyse results of all promotional activities to evaluate the most effective mechanics in supporting business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities and prepare specific briefs for new product development/current product improvements to enhance net sales and gross margin.
  • Communicate with internal departments on customers and their sales strategies, promotional, and new product development activities in a timely manner to ensure all business requirements are met.
