Are you a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Greater Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

Location: Greater Manchester, NHS Trust (across Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport & Tameside)

Duration: Ongoing contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (30 min break), part-time may be considered

Rate of Pay: £17 – £21 per hour (via umbrella), depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Join our client’s team as a Pharmacy Technician within a Mental Health NHS Trust and support the safe and effective delivery of medicines across multiple community sites.
  • Ensure the safe storage of medicines across various sites.
  • Review depot injection cards and reconcile deliveries with invoices.
  • Maintain patient databases for prescribed treatments.
  • Assist clinical teams with medication-related queries and support training to uphold SOPs and policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of how pharmacy services operate and dealing with prescriptions.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work across 13 sites as needed.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a flexible, full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with a 30-minute break), although part-time availability may be considered. The role starts in June and is ongoing, with potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
