EA to Creative MD within Entertainment

Supporting the MD of an Entertainment Management Consultancy we recruiting an experienced EA who is used to looking after a client-focussed principle in  a deal-driven environment.  As the CEO's time is highly sought after, he needs an EA that will bring a sense of calm and order to his life.  The company is going through an exciting growth phase so this EA will assist the MD in taking the company to it's next stage of development.   The MD operates in a fast-paced environment  where plans and priorities change all the time so this EA needs to be able to adapt to changing priorities and be two steps ahead. There is also a need for them to act with tact and diplomacy on his behalf to ensure good relations are kept with contacts if plans are cancelled at short notice  The MD would like someone who feels empowered to take initiative but can judge when to escalate things to him when needed

The EA will also act as a lynch-pin between the MD and the wider team to ensure that he is fully informed of each divisions activities.

Absolute discretion is required as some of the MDs clients are in the public eye.

Main elements of the position will include the following:-

\\n\\n

Attending meetings to take minutes and ensuring targets are actioned – following up with other teams to ensure they are on track and feeding back to the CEO.

\\n\\n

Effective Diary management across multiple time zones, 

\\n\\n

Ensuring that time is managed effectively by blocking time for meetings, ensuring that time is factored in  to forward plan 
\\nInbox management, responding where necessary and flagging up things that need urgent attention

\\n\\n

Prioritising his workload in an ever-changing environment

\\n\\n

Gatekeeping the bosses time

\\n\\n

You must be really adept holding lots of information together and being able to process into small bitesize segments so the CEO can make quick decisions effectively
