We are seeking a dynamic, skilled and motivated Head of Communication to manage and shape our organisation's internal and external communication - in alignment with our mission, values, and business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Business Management, you will enjoy identifying, spearheading and delivering communication initiatives in alignment with business stakeholders across the organisation.

You will oversee internal communications designed to promote employee engagement and change initiatives, as well as external communications to inform external parties and strengthen the organisation’s image. From event organisation, employee newsletters and social media, to managing crisis communication - you thrive on coordinating multiple priorities and activities with a small team of experts, delivering quality content across all business units.

The ideal candidate for this role is an exceptional communicator, a creative thinker, and an inspiring team leader, with a proven track record of delivering impactful communication initiatives.

What Makes You Great

  • You have more than 10 years of experience in a corporate environment, of which more than 5 years are management experience in a communication, marketing or related function.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are foundational for this position.
  • You will have a proven track record of creating clear and compelling press releases, speeches, statements, and other communication materials for a variety of audiences and formats across both digital and traditional channels.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of communication media, processes, methodologies and techniques and their application within global corporates, including experience managing communications during crises and delicate projects.
  • Proven ability to effectively project manage multiple concurrent activities as well as experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, including agencies is expected.
  • If you are a team player with strong influencing, interpersonal and facilitation skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail, this is the role for you.
