About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership throughout the inside sales process. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring successful deployment and adoption of Smartsheet solutions.

Location

This role is part of the Commercial Sales team and is based at our corporate offices in London, UK.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise in Smartsheet, including workflow definition and solution design.
  • Partner with Account Executives to demonstrate the Smartsheet platform, integrations, and add-ons.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to craft creative solutions for customer needs.
  • Identify and demonstrate Smartsheet solutions to address specific customer problems.
  • Build strong relationships with sales teams to support sales efforts and provide technical support.
  • Assist in preparing technical responses to prospect inquiries and help define best practices.
  • Work with Product teams to align offerings with customer needs.
  • Travel periodically to customer sites as a technical expert.
  • Support marketing events by demonstrating the platform and engaging with customers.
  • Achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years experience as a pre-sales Solutions Engineer or similar in SaaS and enterprise software.
  • Strong technical leadership and customer-facing skills.
  • Passion for web technologies and understanding of related use cases.
  • Consultative approach to technology and product positioning.
  • Experience in solution design or architecture related to collaboration and workflow management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel periodically.
  • Fluency in an additional European language or Arabic is desirable.
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK.
