Epworth Trust is seeking to appoint skilled tradespeople, e.g., joiners, plumbers, electricians, to provide a wide range of skilled trade services. The role involves maintaining schools within the Trust to a high standard, supporting a safe and effective learning environment. This flexible zero-hours position allows candidates to balance work around other commitments. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Perform planned maintenance and repairs across the Trust schools to a high standard.
  • Complete renovations with attention to detail.
  • Support the Trust on various projects, including obtaining quotes for other contractors required to complete works.
  • Work independently and under pressure, prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Trade skills desired include carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating, and electrical work.
  • Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
