Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Owning the Groupsβ infrastructure architecture.
- IT security.
- Server management (inc data and storage).
- Project lead on CRM rebuild.
- Part of this role is to learn the code/system throughout the rebuild so that we retain that knowledge in-house.
- Helpdesk (hands-on).
- Website and app management, including an impending brand refresh project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support system enhancements.
- Systems integration.
- Supplier management.
- Strategy. Optimizing service, costs etc.
- Plan and prioritise in line with Group strategy and stakeholder requirements.
- IT project management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the CRM and across the group.
- Reviewing business requirements to understand the business needs.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience to meet the above requirements and will come from a Developer background (with current expertise). To Include:
- At least 5 years of commercial experience using PHP (OOP).
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns.
- Solid knowledge of Laravel (or other PHP frameworks).
- Working knowledge of Continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD).
