Purpose
Are you a natural leader with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? As a Logistics Team Leader in venue, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our stock and supplies run efficiently, accurately, and safely. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of operatives to ensure goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched with precision—all while maintaining the highest food safety standards. You’ll drive productivity, foster a positive and safe working environment, and support Logistics Management in achieving key operational targets.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with NT Food & Drink departments to ensure stock and equipment needs are met.
- Manage and deliver food, beverage, and supply orders while maintaining clear communication.
- Prepare venue stock for peak periods, ensuring teams are informed and ready.
- Oversee supplier relationships and ensure accurate order processing.
- Maintain high standards in stockroom organization, rotation, and compliance with food safety and H&S regulations.
- Support staff training, stock audits, and monthly stock takes.
- Assist with event stock and equipment needs, ensuring smooth setup and breakdown.
- Uphold NT Food & Drink policies, health & safety standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven Experience – You’ve worked in a similar role before and are ready to hit the ground running.
- Great Communicator & Team Leader – You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and leading a strong, skilled operational team.
- Adaptable & Flexible – You’re open to adjusting working patterns (within reason) as agreed with your manager, ensuring we meet business needs.
- Self-Motivated & Organized – You can confidently manage your own workload while supervising and supporting your team effectively.
- Health & Safety Awareness – You understand H&S regulations, Food Safety, and COSHH, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
- Food Hygiene Certified – A Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is required.
- Tech-Savvy (Bonus!) – Experience with EPOS, Goodtill, and Food Buy is a plus but not essential.
- Availability – This role may require evening, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
