As a Global Security Programmes Manager, you will contribute to JM's mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.
The role:
- Designing and executing comprehensive security programmes that align with the company's overall security strategy.
- Leading the enhancement and delivery of a full-cycle security incident reporting programme.
- Providing strategic oversight and direction for global security investigations; leading responses during major incidents.
- Managing and delivering a global employee travel and event protection programme to safeguard personnel.
- Implementing a global intelligence programme that leverages internal, partner, and third-party resources to assess and monitor threats to employee safety, business continuity, and company reputation.
- Developing and delivering a company-wide security awareness program, including targeted training and advocacy initiatives (e.g., Emergency Preparedness, Emergency Communications, Workplace Violence) in partnership with local stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining relationships with government agencies and public/private sector organizations relevant to the company's threat landscape and intelligence needs.
- Overseeing security aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, and supporting the delivery of the global insider risk programme in partnership with group functions and business units.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Degree-level education and/or relevant vocational qualifications such as ASIS CPP or CSMP.
- Extensive experience in Group Security functions within multinational corporations, with a strong track record in managing security reporting and escalations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, including producing high-quality, well-structured reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify root causes, recurring themes, and systemic security issues.
- Skilled in negotiation and influence, able to challenge constructively while remaining pragmatic and independent.
- Willingness to travel or work from different locations for short or extended periods (approximately 25% of the time).
- Experience in travel security risk management (including intelligence, operational management, or assistance), with a proven track record in managing global security investigations, building security programmes in coordination with global partners, and an understanding of intelligence agencies, private sector intelligence providers, and holistic threat assessment methodologies would be desirable.
