Our client requires candidates that have worked in Banking or for a FCA/PRA institution. This is essential for this particular role. Our client does not offer sponsorship, student visa or PSW, therefore 3+ years on visa eligibility to work in UK is essential.
Our client, a Financial Institution, is seeking a Mandarin, Banking Finance Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Mandarin, Banking Finance Accountant will support with financial accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting and taxation for London Branch.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Internal expenses management and review.
- General ledger maintenance and review; Internal accounts (Fixed assets, prepayment and accruals, receivables and payables, etc) management and review.
- Nostros accounts reconciliations.
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial reports preparation.
- Assist in Regulatory reporting to BOE, PRA and FCA on regular basis.
- Taxation returns preparation, including VAT and Corporation Tax.
- Preparation of Regular reports to Head Office relevant departments.
- Assist in branch budget management.
- Assist to ensure asset and Liability and specifically liquidity risk are managed accordingly, including daily LCR monitoring.
- Assist in perform asset and liability portfolio analytical review.
- Assist in preparation of ALCO management reports.
- Assist branch Foreign Exchange Risk Management.
- Assist branch banking book interest rate risk management.
Skills and experience:
- Degree holder, minimum.
- Qualified accountant, or approaching to fully qualified.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Minimum 3 years working experience in accounting. Experience in UK banking industry or PRA/FCA regulated companies is essential.
