We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a permanent role in an Engineering/Fabrications company.
Role Duties:
- Inspect samples of all work produced.
- Control and log rejects.
- Book and inspect goods inwards (quantity and defect monitoring).
- Some light assembly work.
- Assist in packaging of goods ready for dispatch.
- Understand potential issues with product design.
Candidate Specification:
- Minimum of 5 years in a quality inspection role in manufacturing.
- Able to read Technical drawings/blueprints.
- Able to use measuring equipment such as verniers/calipers/micrometers.
- Good computer skills.
- Awareness of ISO 9001.
Days, Monday to Friday, 34 hour working week. However there can be flexibility with this for the right candidate.
