The Role
You'll be joining a market-leading Financial Services Tax team, working with an impressive client base including major banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and innovative fintech businesses. Day-to-day you'll be:
- Lead and manage corporate tax compliance and advisory projects for financial services clients
- Provide technical tax advice on complex financial services transactions and structures
- Manage relationships with key financial services clients and serve as primary tax contact
- Supervise and develop junior team members, providing technical guidance and mentoring
- Prepare and review complex corporate tax computations and returns for financial institutions
- Advise on regulatory tax matters specific to financial services (CRD IV, Solvency II, MIFID II)
- Support business development activities and proposal preparation
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation affecting the financial services sector
- Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent professional qualification
- 5-8 years of corporate tax experience with significant exposure to financial services
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
- Experience with financial services regulatory frameworks and their tax implications
