What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end design process across a range of ecommerce projects - predominantly full replatforms. From early discovery sessions and audits through to UI kit creation and final concept presentation, you'll ensure the design work is purposeful, on-brand, and commercially effective. This is both a hands-on design role and a consultative one, where your insight will help shape outcomes. You’ll work closely with clients, developers, and product teams, as well as supporting our UX research offering. You’ll also help identify ongoing opportunities to enhance customer experiences post-launch.

  • Facilitate and contribute to discovery and creative workshops with key stakeholders, including ideation, requirements gathering, and problem definition.
  • Engage in research activities to build empathy with end users and identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, user flows and high-fidelity UI designs for mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Lead the design of user-focused, scalable ecommerce experiences that improve conversions and customer retention.
  • Create, document and maintain Design Systems with reusable components and well-defined styles to ensure consistency and long-term ROI for our clients.
  • Produce design deliverables including wireframes, IA diagrams, workflows, prototypes and final UI designs.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and QA to ensure successful implementation and adherence to designs, SEO and accessibility standards.
  • Advise customers on feature prioritisation, functionality and UX best practices to enhance the user journey and support business growth.
  • Contribute to our internal UX practice— sharing trends, methodologies, and best practices with the wider team.
  • Stay up to date with the ecommerce platforms and partners we work with and have an awareness of limitations and impacts to overall project costs before presenting design ideas to customers.
  • Stay informed about mobile-first, responsive design, modern UI trends, and emerging tools.
