This is an excellent opportunity to join a popular, oversubscribed secondary school in Trafford, Greater Manchester.

As a School Business Manager, you will take responsibility for the financial, operational, and administrative management of the school, ensuring that the school runs smoothly and efficiently. You will support the Headteacher and the leadership team in achieving the school's vision and strategic goals. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of the school and requires a proactive, solution-focused approach.

The position is a fixed term, Full Time role totalling 36.25 hours per week to cover a maternity leave. The salary is dependent on experience (£40-£55k).

Ideally you will have experience in the below:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting and Reporting
  • Experience in managing school/charity finance
  • Experience of SIMS FMS accounting software
  • Accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable but not essential
  • Estate management
  • Some HR responsibilities
