Outstanding Primary school in Greenwich is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join their team from September. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6.15pm in the After School club.
Salary: £14 - £16 per hour (depending on experience)
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an after school setting or similar, for example: Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse. Responsibilities include:
- Creating high quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
- Providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children placed in the Club, including those with special needs
- Planning and delivering fun and engaging activities throughout the week
- Assisting in helping pupils with their evening meal/snacks
- Working alongside other after school staff
- Building strong relationships with pupils and parents/carers
- Safely chaperoning pupils when being collected by parents/carers
- Following all safeguarding and health & safety guidance
