A full-time permanent role with a small, fast-growing UK manufacturing business. You’ll lead all things IT: infrastructure, ERP, application support, networking, and internal projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and developing on-prem IT infrastructure (no cloud)
  • Administering and automating ERP and CRM systems
  • Writing SQL queries, procedures, and reports
  • Supporting 60+ users across 3 sites (sales, manufacturing, and distribution)
  • Managing BAU issues and driving tech improvements
  • Delivering custom app changes and integrating new production lines
  • Reporting directly to the Technical Director and CEO

Tech Stack

  • ERP/MRP – across AR/AP, BOMs, purchasing, inventory, sales
  • Dynamics 365 CRM + PowerApps custom modules
  • SQL – advanced querying, views, stored procedures
  • Power BI – KPI dashboards and reporting
  • VMWare (vSphere & ESXi)
  • Microsoft Server 2012R2–2022
  • Active Directory / Intune / DHCP / DNS / GPONetworking – Ubiquiti & Cisco
  • SAN & NAS storage / Veeam backup & DR

What They’re Looking For

  • Hands-on, “jack-of-all-trades” IT operator
  • Strong SQL and ERP experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Comfortable owning systems end-to-end – infra + apps
  • Able to split time between BAU support and continuous improvements
  • No remote working – onsite presence is essential due to the nature of the business
  • Experience working solo or in lean teams preferred
