The primary objective of this role is to deliver highly efficient and proactive secretarial support to a team of fee earners, ensuring the seamless execution of daily activities. This role is essential in allowing fee earners to concentrate on providing high-quality legal services by offering comprehensive organisational and administrative support.
What You'll Do:
- Work collaboratively with all Finance teams to proactively support fee earners.
- Work closely with Business Development to support fee earners on organisation and attendance of events and conferences.
- Assist the Business Development team with organising and attending core team and relationship meetings; organisation and attendance of events; and compiling regular client reports.
- Undertake all matter management processes, applying correct rates at opening, prompt preparation of engagement letters, matter specifications and liaising with the Business Acceptance Unit as required.
- Comprehensive diary management, including forward planning, proactive travel and meeting arrangements.
Who We're Looking For:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with accurate use of grammar and punctuation, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- At least 6 years' experience (or equivalent) in a comparable environment, demonstrating proven client service and attention to detail in a fast-paced office setting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently, to meet client and organisational needs.
- Willingness to work flexibly and effectively to deliver exceptional results.
