We are looking for a curious, collaborative and creative Senior UI / Visual Designer with an impeccable eye for beauty to join our independent design agency in Shoreditch. As a Senior Designer, you will help define the future of our digital output, shaping remarkable experiences for brands across sectors like tech, healthcare, wellness, and automotive.
You will lead visual design excellence across platforms, from beautiful UI systems to emotionally engaging motion design and 3D prototypes. You will mentor others, influence the creative direction, and collaborate with some of the world’s best designers, developers, anthropologists, strategists, and engineers. You will make work that pushes boundaries, challenges perceptions, and - occasionally - changes the world.
You:
- Experienced & Agency-Tested: You have honed your skills in a fast-paced, creative agency environment, where you have delivered high-impact work across a range of industries.
- ID Background Welcome: Your industrial design (ID) background brings unique dimensional thinking to screen-based experiences.
- Cross-Disciplinary Fluent: You understand 3D, motion, and storytelling – bridging the gap between tactile and digital.
- Visionary Thinker: You bring creative thinking and technological curiosity to every challenge. You push what’s possible and influence others to do the same.
- Leadership & Collaboration: You guide more junior designers while collaborating across disciplines in our Shoreditch studio.
- Craft-Led: You are obsessive about typography, hierarchy, layout, and interaction, with an eye for flawless visual execution.
- Adaptable: We are not afraid to scrap an idea. Sometimes, we build it, test it, and start again. If this doesn’t fill you with dread, you will make the work of your life at Native.
- Fun: A passion for what you do is essential. We believe the best creatives genuinely enjoy their work.
Us:
Yes, there’s complimentary breakfast and plenty of snacks, but that’s not all we have to offer. Here’s what you can expect from us:
- Competitive Pay: Fair, reliable, and competitive. You also get a generous pension scheme.
- Paid Holidays: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. And yes, we expect you to take them all.
- Parental Leave: Enhanced maternity and paternity pay. We want to support new mums and dads, not add stress.
- Health Insurance: Bupa provides private medical insurance, including 24/7 access to GPs, nurses, mental health care, and menopause support.
- Gym Membership: Get 40% off the Hussle Gym network and access to mindfulness and fitness apps.
- Personal Development: You will get loads of in-house opportunities for development and training.
- Company Socials: We throw a couple of big bashes a year and might occasionally block out the afternoon for activities.
- Sweet Location: Shoreditch is easy to get to, has loads of good places to eat, and plenty of independent shops and market stalls.
- Independent Studio: Native is one of the last proper indie studios in the East End. We have been here for twenty years.
