Hometrack delivers market leading valuation, automation, property risk and market intelligence services across the property and financial industries. The Data Services team works with hundreds of customers across the property sector ranging from mortgage lenders, house builders, investors, fintech and proptech, telco, retail/utilities and insurance as well as others involved in the housing market. Our market intelligence and our customer acquisition, retention and engagement solutions are relied upon by leading industry professionals. Our range of products are delivered through varying mechanisms including data platforms, reports and APIs, providing maximum flexibility when matching our customers’ needs to the most effective data solution.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Executive to support our Data Services Account Management & Business Development teams. You will deliver a trusted and consistent client experience, supporting the team with hitting retention targets, acquiring new business and administrative & operational support. You must be someone who is proactive, takes initiative and has empathy for the challenges and requirements of our clients. Excellent organisation skills and being comfortable communicating with customers and internal stakeholders is essential for success in this role. The role will be suitable for you if you have experience of working in a customer facing or administration role and are looking to progress your career into Sales or Account Management in the future. Previous experience working in the property industry and analytical skills would be advantageous. Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts and proactively managing and growing client relationships, renewing contracts and ensuring high client satisfaction through timely and effective contact.
  • Supporting the Account Managers with Key Accounts, client onboarding, administration and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Supporting the Business Development Managers with new business opportunities, account set ups and contract administration.
  • Carrying out regular client account reviews, with the support of Account Managers.
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to support with client engagement and commercial operations.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting of renewals and client usage.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to provide product feedback, resolve data queries and client complaints.
  • Responsible for accurate reporting and auditing of opportunities within our Salesforce CRM and using Salesforce to grow an accurate source of client information and activity history.
  • Responsible for maintaining and auditing accounts across our products and CRM.
  • Any other duties realistically expected to fulfil the department's objective of increasing revenue and growing our client base.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a customer facing or administration role.
  • Strong people and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Experience in overcoming objections and challenges in a customer facing role.
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of the property industry.
  • Experience working in a sales-led environment and meeting sales or retention targets.
  • Previous experience working in the property industry.
  • Previous experience working with data products or data-driven solutions.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.
