Loretto School seeks a Head of Girls Games for September 2025 or January 2026: Term-time 34 weeks plus summer camps. The school has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a team as the Head of Girls Games. The right candidate will enjoy working in an exciting but challenging environment and form an integral part of the School community.
The post holder will be working with the Director of Sport and other Heads of Sports and will be responsible for preparing girls' teams across all sports for matches. The ideal candidate will be a role model and figurehead for girls’ sport within Loretto. Ideally, the successful candidate will be the lead technical coach in the spring term for Hockey or Lacrosse.
They will create session plans for games groups and send this to academic and sports staff in advance of the session. Experience of playing or coaching Hockey and/or Lacrosse to a high standard is vital, along with relevant coaching and umpiring qualifications. There is a possibility that accommodation might be available with this role.
