Job Purpose

As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with overall business goals. This leadership role includes overseeing the HR Business Partner, providing mentorship and guidance while also being responsible for HR operations, compliance, and facilities management to create an optimized and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute HR strategies in collaboration with the Head of People to meet short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Managers, providing insights and solutions to drive organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead the HR Business Partner to deliver impactful initiatives aligned with the People Strategy.
  • Oversee complex employee relations issues, including mediations, investigations, and resolution strategies.
  • Champion a culture of performance excellence by spearheading performance management initiatives, including Quarterly Performance Reviews and leadership coaching.
  • Partner with Managers and recruitment and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new colleagues.
  • Design and oversee robust Learning & Development programs to elevate individual and team capabilities, including oversight of the PDP process.
  • Review and improve all HR processes, identify gaps and create new processes.
  • Foster a culture of engagement through initiatives informed by regular employee engagement surveys.
  • Ideation of methods to measure and improve engagement.
  • Ensure full compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and industry standards across all HR functions.
  • Regularly review and refine HR systems to maintain accurate, up-to-date information, providing valuable insights through HR metrics analysis.
  • Accountable for ensuring the smooth daily operations of office facilities, coordinating with vendors for repairs, supplies, and upkeep to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, development, and performance management for the HR Business Partner, ensuring the team is well-equipped to meet its goals.
  • Act as a role model for the organization's values, promoting cross-functional collaboration and a positive work environment.
  • Deliver high-level administrative support to the Head of People, including the preparation of reports, presentations, and compliance documentation.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for HR operations and administrative matters, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
