We are proud to be partnering with an established, globally leading Medical Communications organisation who are currently looking for a Lead Medical Writer to join their business in the UK. This position will be an ideal move for an experienced Senior Medical Writer who may be looking to take a step towards Principal level.
Supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Scientific Directors and VPs across a specialised account focused on Publications and some Medical Affairs deliverables. Dermatology will be the key therapy area focus, so experience in this area or Autoimmune Diseases will be highly advantageous.
The Lead Medical Writer will be expected to take hands-on responsibility for content creation/development and medical writing for assigned deliverables, whilst also playing a key role in client communications and supervising more junior team members too.
Requirements for this role include:
- Demonstrated experience of working within a medical communications agency at Senior Medical Writer level.
- The ability to coach, mentor and supervise junior team members.
- Experience of working across publications accounts and related deliverables/projects.
- Strong scientific knowledge, ideally with a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a Life Sciences subject.
