We're searching for a talented and strategic Senior Content Designer to craft clear, concise, and compelling content that guides and supports our users. In this crucial role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the voice, tone, and messaging for our digital products and services, particularly within the financial services sector. You'll ensure our content is accessible, understandable, and meets both user needs and business objectives.
You'll collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and designers (both interaction and service) to define content strategy, lead content audits, and create content across various touchpoints. Your responsibilities will include developing content guidelines, writing UX microcopy, error messages, and onboarding flows, and contributing to overall information architecture. You'll also be expected to mentor more junior content designers and champion content-first approaches across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or a similar content-focused role, with a significant portion of that time spent working within the financial services industry. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centred content strategy and a proven ability to simplify complex information into clear, actionable language is essential for this senior position.
This role is based in Leeds, and we're looking for candidates who currently reside in Leeds or the surrounding areas. You'll be happy to attend our Leeds office twice a week as part of our hybrid working model.
