Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for an Operations Project Manager to join our Business Change team and lead the delivery of key projects across our warehouse and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medium to large-scale projects, particularly those involving Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational process improvements. They will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while supporting the business with expert project leadership and stakeholder engagement. This role will follow a hybrid working pattern, with regular presence required at our operational sites and flexibility to work from home.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define, manage, and deliver operational projects, ensuring clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee change control processes, particularly for WMS and warehouse operations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring continuity and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate project progress and performance to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and third-party contributors to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Take corrective action when project performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
  • Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and governance is maintained to a high standard.

Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing operational projects in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS implementations and process change.
  • At least 3 years of warehouse operational management experience.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Workfront and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience with Director-level engagement.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines.
