The Role
Due to ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birmingham as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Management Team (EMT). You will play a pivotal role in supporting a team of Executive Deans as well as the wider EMT. Based in the heart of Birmingham, you will be joining a team of Executive Assistants and will play an integral role, providing a high level of administrative support.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide a professional executive support service to the relevant EMT members, including active and efficient diary management, organisation and administration of meetings and functions, and dealing discreetly with matters and communications of a confidential nature. You will become familiar with the strategic issues concerning the University and keep up to date with current policy and initiatives affecting the University.
You will have a high level of IT skills, specifically in Office 365 and MS Teams alongside excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, as a key part of this role involves engaging with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. We would welcome applications from applicants from both a traditional PA background and also those with administrative experience looking to progress within their career.
