About the Role & Client: My client, a leading UK based IT Services & Consulting organisation, are seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. Previous experience supporting automation within Windows Server & OS is essential. The successful candidate will initially be placed onto a major project with a globally operating financial organisation (approximated to last 2+ years minimum) where they will apply hands-on skills in design and implementation of Automation and CI/CD based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Technical Automation Specialist within a globally operating Windows environment
  • Administration of Windows Server & Operating Systems using YAML, Git, Ansible Tower, CI/CD Pipelines
  • Deployment, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (automation)
  • Supporting automation within Windows Server & Operating Systems using YAML, Git, Ansible Tower, CI/CD Pipelines

Candidate Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Environments (Servers and OS) (Essential)
  • Experience Administering: Windows Server & Operating Systems using YAML, Git, Ansible Tower, CI/CD Pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Automation and CI/CD technology, tools & products: e.g. Ansible / Ansible tower, Chef Inspec, Jenkins
  • Relevant Certifications: Windows Server, Azure, or related certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of current cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • Previous experience in Financial / Banking environments (highly desirable)
