The Role
As the Director of Sales EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the global sales strategy and executing it across the EMEA market. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of Business Development Executives, ensuring they achieve revenue targets while delivering exceptional service to our customers. This is a senior role reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and you will be expected to work closely with the wider sales, marketing, solutions engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Development Executives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive their professional growth and success. Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture, setting clear goals and expectations, while providing ongoing feedback and motivation to the team. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management for the sales team to ensure the right talent is in place to achieve ambitious targets.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth across the EMEA market, aligned with the company’s business objectives. Collaborate with the CRO and senior Commercial leaders to set annual sales targets and forecasts. Implement best practices in sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting to ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales performance.
- Customer & Market Focus: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the cybersecurity space. Identify new business opportunities, verticals, and markets for expansion, while ensuring a strong understanding of customer needs and challenges in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, ensuring that the sales team is well-positioned to offer competitive solutions.
- Collaboration With Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and solutions engineering teams to align on sales initiatives, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies. Provide insights into market conditions, customer feedback, and sales performance to help refine and improve product offerings and marketing campaigns.
- Performance & Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and key business metrics to the CRO, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Lead regular sales meetings, forecasting sessions, and business reviews, ensuring timely execution and adjustment of strategies.
Experience

- Proven track record in a sales leadership role, preferably within the cybersecurity space, with experience of managing and developing teams of Business Development Executives.
- Strong experience in driving revenue growth and developing high-performing sales teams in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
