Exceptional opportunity for a mid-level competition lawyer to join a standout transatlantic team, with flexibility on location. The team, led by a renowned figure in the field, advises on complex, cross-border matters across cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, merger control, and wider regulatory issues - with particular strength in the tech and life sciences sectors.
This is a genuinely broad competition role, well beyond pure merger control. You'll work closely with elite partners on some of the most high-profile and cutting-edge matters in the market, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. The practice continues to grow and recently added two senior associates, creating space for a dynamic mid-level lawyer to come in and make an impact.
The position can be based in either London or Brussels, depending on your preference. In both offices, the team is tight-knit and collaborative, offering a clear contrast to the scale and hierarchy of larger competition teams. Associates here benefit from direct access to partners, client-facing responsibility from day one, and an environment where individual development is genuinely prioritised.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in EU and/or UK competition law from a leading international or boutique firm, with exposure to cartel or abuse of dominance work being especially valuable. You'll be commercially minded, ambitious, and keen to take on challenging, varied work in a fast-paced but supportive setting.
This is a rare chance to join an elite practice with a low-ego, high-calibre team - and to do so in the city that suits you best.
