A dynamic and prestigious professional services company based in the heart of the City of London are seeking a talented Risk Manager to join their Technical Team. This multifaceted position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to work at a global level, directly with senior leadership of offices across the world, key decision makers and global committees. This role offers a rare chance to innovate and develop original methods to deal with the complex and critical Global Risk Management.
The main focus of the role will include:
- Biannual update of risk registers
- Supporting the Global Risk Management Committee
- Liaising with Global Offices to obtain input to update risk policies and procedures
- Oversight of Global Office compliance with PI and Cyber insurance requirements
- Supporting the Global Insurance Working Group with analysis, status snapshots and Board presentations
- Contribute to the risk governance structure and operations throughout the organisation
- Facilitate activities that enhance risk understanding, risk ownership and monitor risk mitigation activities
- Support on other risk related activities and projects as necessary
- Contribute to the ongoing development of risk management initiatives
To succeed in this role, the individual will need:
- An ACA or equivalent risk qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in Risk services at a public accounting firm
- Strong organisational skills and experience in managing projects with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Confident, agile, self-starter
- Professionalism in interactions with stakeholders
- An ability to quickly foster effective working relationships across various cultures
- Collaborative mindset in solving problems and excellent team player
- Excellent verbal and written English skills to explain complex matters in an understandable manner
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
