Our client is a longstanding, reputable brand that focuses on quality and originality. They are looking for a product developer with experience within sportswear, activewear and athleisure to join them. You will be helping to create the seasonal calendar by developing the collection in collaboration with the wider team. We are looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge of garment construction and an understanding of pattern cutting. You must have experience in technical fabrics and performance garment construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and developing fabrics
- Coordinating all activities involved in the development process
- Liaising with factories to ensure samples are correct
- Creating measurement charts
- Organising fit sessions
- Creating and implementing action plans to ensure on time delivery
- Preparing, maintaining and following up on work documents
- Managing the critical path
- Resolving any QC issues
It is important you have experience in dealing with suppliers in the Far East and have worked within a wholesale business model.
