Each day is as exciting, different and varied as our Customers – working with blue chip companies and sites from Premier League Football clubs to Global hotel chains and iconic buildings in the city of London.
We have opportunities to work independently and field–based to provide skilled refrigeration services to Swegon HVAC Equipment, in and around the London area. We would be interested to hear from you if you would like to discuss any other geographical location. In addition to a competitive basic salary, we are offering an additional earning potential of up to GBP20k extra per annum.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
- Carrying out maintenance, repair, commissioning, and service support to a wide range of chillers, heat pumps, ventilation and Swegon Manufactured HVAC equipment
- Communicating technical information and site requirements back to the Service office
- Fault finding
- Assisting the team as and when required with site installation of HVAC systems
- Liaising and developing working relationships both with the customer and other employees within the company
- Completion of relevant service paperwork using our online platform
- Awareness and appreciation of Health and Safety requirements and completion of Dynamic Risk Assessments
- Lead generation, identifying commercial opportunities for business development
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, and processes to ensure that regulations are complied with for our ongoing accreditation to REFCOM, Safe Contractor and CHAS
Your Experience:
- Essential: Good fundamental knowledge of refrigeration, air & water chillers, AC systems and industry practices with the ability to carry out maintenance, repairs and service
- An appreciation and understanding of the benefits of lead generation and completion of relevant forms
- Dealing with customers and the ability to communicate technical information and site requirements back to the Service office
- Awareness and appreciation of Health and Safety requirements to industry standards.
- Understanding the importance of working in line with risk assessments and method statements
- Providing an appropriate audit trail of documentation relating to servicing of customer sites
- Desirable: Completion and understanding of the importance of Dynamic Risk Assessments
- Knowledge of chiller products
- Knowledge of ventilation products

- All round HVAC knowledge
- Sound controls knowledge
Your qualifications:
- Essential: GCSE or equivalent
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 and or 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- 2079 Refrigerant Handling
- Full Driving Licence
- Computer literacy
- ACRIB / CSCS Card or other safety awareness course
- Desirable: HND/C Mechanical or Electrical engineering or similar
- IPAF
- PASMA
- CSCS
- SSSTS
- PAT Testing certification
