We're looking for a Works Superintendent to join our United Utilities framework, based in Warrington, Cheshire.

Location: Warrington, Cheshire

Hours: 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As Works Superintendent, you'll be working within the United Utilities team, supporting them in delivering their AMP8 goals. You will be responsible for ensuring the construction activities of the project and/or portfolio of projects are delivered to the highest quality standard and in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. You'll work collaboratively with the construction/operational leads, the wider Senior Management Team and the Enterprise Partners to improve performance and deliver successful project outcomes.

Your day to day will include:

  • Overall Responsibility for the organisation and management of all relevant disciplines on site including any subcontractors.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver strategy and detailed planning/programming of the works.
  • Development and implementation of the site logistics planning and procedure.
  • Resolve any programme clashes and interfaces with the relevant functional Managers.
  • Establish and maintain a successful relationship with the project team, wider enterprise partners, supply chain, suppliers, and all interested parties and stakeholders.
