Livelyhood Pub Group is in the fun art of Hospitality! Our Independent Pub in Wanstead, The Bull (E11 2RL) is seeking an Assistant Manager. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is passionate about creating memorable moments with guests and keen to join a successful, independent London Pub Operator. At Livelyhood Pubs, we believe everyone who walks through our doors should be warmly welcomed when they arrive and leave with a smile and a reason to return.

  • Previous experience working with food and gardens/outdoor spaces as part of the operation would be highly advantageous.
  • You’ll bring your previous relevant management experience in a £15k+ pub or restaurant.

This role involves partnering with the General Manager and working with the team to drive and grow the business, creating memorable guest experiences and delivering the very best of hospitality to our Wanstead community.

The Bull in Wanstead is a beautiful, listed building and a former bank. It has a rich history and has been a huge part of the local community since its inception as a pub 11 years ago. A pub full of character, it boasts a first-floor private room alongside an epic garden. It has been at the centre of many events, celebrations, and summer parties over the years. The Bull is located on Wanstead High Street, 100 yards from Wanstead Tube Station, offering a great commute and prides itself on being a real community pub. This is an exciting time to join The Bull as there’s an extensive garden refurbishment on the horizon.

The Bull is part of Livelyhood Pub Group, an established London-based owner, creator, and operator of inviting and independent neighbourhood pubs. We currently have 7 independent, inviting modern locals in London and are planning to open more sites, making this a brilliant chance for the right people to join us and be a key part of our growth.
