We are actively seeking a VP, Sales to cover our EMEA territory. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Position Summary

Rimini Street is recruiting a senior Sales Leader for our EMEA region with a solid record of $40M – 50M revenue delivered across all verticals and strong experience of Level 2 (Manager of managers). The VP, Sales - EMEA will manage several sales team leaders and be responsible for achieving Rimini Street’s aggressive sales goals in the NAMER Region. That role will report directly to the Theater General Manager, and will get support from Sales Operation, Field Marketing, Pre-Sales and various other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building new markets and leading a US-based team for a high-growth software or software-related services company with annual revenues of at least $250 million. Candidates should be charismatic executives, possess an entrepreneurial spirit and have experience “hunting” and opening new accounts with a proven track record of sales excellence managing teams that exceed quota.

Responsibilities

  • Grow, lead and manage Rimini Street’s EMEA Region
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team in setting sales strategy and growth objectives
  • Recruit, train and develop sales staff
  • Represent and present Rimini Street at Regional CIO and Analyst conferences
  • Guide prospects to the Rimini Street solution through a Solution Selling approach
  • Prepare and provide weekly forecasts to Theater GM
  • Ensure that sales activities are updated, current and tracked in Salesforce.com and Clari

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Travel plays a part in this role. Expect the Vice President to travel as needed (30% minimum) for sales opportunities. Reinforce and extend the unique and strong Rimini Street culture.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Experience

  • 15+ years’ experience selling enterprise software and services and building new markets or businesses either in start-up environments or working for international enterprise software companies
  • 7+ years in a sales vice president or equivalent role with a proven track record of driving strong sales results against target plans
  • Prefer experience overseeing high growth software or software-related services businesses
  • Team selling environment. Proven experience in team-selling, as this role will require you to spend at least 50% of your time selling with your team leaders and top sellers, and helping them develop, manage and close sales deals
  • Proven experience in opening new accounts, which includes cold-calling and lead prospecting and development
  • Experience managing teams of quota bearing high-volume sales reps across multiple states, specifically in the corporate market and Enterprise markets with focus selling to Enterprises larger than $1B in annual revenues
