Qualifications & Experience:
- Background in designing Graphical User Interfaces for Mobile & Desktop Apps.
- Proficient in UI Design tools such as Figma or XD, with a comprehensive understanding of software layout rules, design systems, and component structures.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a firm grasp of UI/UX Principles and a keen eye for aesthetic detail.
- Ability to gather software requirements, create user personas and develop these to form the final user experience.
- Ability to work with a software development team, practicing Agile Methods of software project management.
- Hold a degree in a relevant subject, or relevant web graphic design skills developed through work experience or personal interest.
- A keen interest in technology.
- Experience with Web / Mobile Development, HTML+CSS, or any other exposure to creating software will be a major advantage.
- You won’t be required to write code but an understanding how your designs are implemented by developers is essential.
You will be responsible for:
- Engaging with the Forest Rock team to understand how your work fits into our broader goals and mission.
- Designing elegant and functional interfaces for Enterprise Control Software, Mobile apps, & Web.
- Supplying development teams with collateral to easily implement your designs: accurate wireframes, design systems etc.
- Working from our central office location located on Loughborough University Campus, with the opportunity to occasionally visit other sites around the UK.
