We’re on a journey of transformation. We’re finding new ways to achieve our purpose of providing families with affordable, sustainable and safe homes. We’re innovating for our customers and to create a thriving workspace that supports everyone.

We’re a team of passionate, dedicated people, working to drive change for the better.

We’re building something special here and we want driven, creative people to join us.

If you’re looking for a career where you can be part of change, share your ideas and help us transform, there’s never been a more exciting time to join us and shape our future.

About the role

At Accent, we believe better services start with bold ideas, collaboration, and continuous learning. We’re on the lookout for a Continuous Improvement Manager who’s not just a problem-solver, but a coach, a catalyst, and a changemaker.

If you’re someone who thrives on coaching and empowering others, driving transformation, and making a real difference across an entire organisation, this is your moment.

In this role, you’ll do more than lead projects - you’ll coach and empower colleagues to rethink how we work and deliver exceptional experiences for customers and teams alike.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the driving force behind our transformation journey - coaching teams, embedding Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), and championing Systems Thinking.
  • Align every improvement initiative with strategic goals, ensuring we’re always moving in the right direction.
  • Train and mentor others to become improvement leaders themselves, building a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • You’ll start by working closely with our complaints team to understand the root causes of our customers’ frustrations and coach the business to proactively implement continuous improvements that resolve these issues.

About you

We’re looking for a leader who communicates clearly and inclusively, inspiring teams through change with emotional intelligence and creativity. You’ll have proven experience in continuous improvement, service or customer experience design, ideally with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or working towards). You’ll be skilled in coaching analysts, facilitating collaboration, and translating user insights into clear service requirements and improvements. Strong knowledge of design thinking, systems thinking, agile delivery (GDS lifecycle), process mapping (BPMN), and target operating models is essential. Excellent communication and strategic influence skills are a must.

We want your candidate experience to reflect who we are - a place to grow, a place to thrive, a place to be you.

Stage 1: A Place to Connect

A call with the hiring manager. You’ll learn more about the role and team, and we’ll get to know you – your experience, goals, and what you bring.

Planned dates: 28th and 29th July

Stage 2: A Place to Show Your Strengths

A behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. You’ll be asked to prepare a presentation and complete a Congruity questionnaire in advance.

Planned dates: 4th and 5th August.

We aim to make the process clear, supportive, and genuinely valuable – a place where you feel informed and confident at every step.

A place to build a future

We have big ambitions. That means we need people who are driven to succeed and eager to grow. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, thrive in our collaborative environment, and take your career in different directions. We also support your health and wellbeing with 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time) - an extra day’s leave to celebrate your birthday and the option to purchase more - access to an online GP, gym discounts, and a dedicated day to volunteer for a cause that matters to you.

And because we believe in supporting you now and in the future, this is a place to plan for your future - with access to both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit pension schemes through salary sacrifice, helping you save more efficiently. We also provide life assurance at three times your salary for all colleagues, giving you added peace of mind.

If you require reasonable adjustments to any part of our recruitment process, please let us know we will ensure requirements are met.

Please don’t delay in submitting your application. Where roles are urgent or we receive a high volume of applications, we may interview and conclude the process prior to any closing date indicated.

If you have any queries about the role, please contact us.

Please note candidates must have current eligibility to live and work in the UK, Accent do not currently hold a sponsorship license.
