Currently supporting a rapidly growing business based in Birmingham in their search for an ERP Project Manager who has implemented NetSuite before to help them with an 18-month programme. This will be a hands-on role which will transform the business's capabilities. Fixed Term Contract GBP100-110,000 base salary + benefits. You must be able to get on site as regularly as possible to get to know the business. This will not suit someone wanting a remote role.
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the transition from a legacy SQL locally hosted ERP system to NetSuite Cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of the ERP across multiple countries in Europe for a wholesale distribution business. This role requires a deep understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) operations. Occasional travel within Europe will be required. Reporting into the group IT manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the IT transformation project, ensuring successful migration from a legacy SQL-based ERP system to NetSuite Cloud.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Work closely with business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth implementation across multiple European locations.
- Ensure system integrations with WMS, B2B, and B2C operations align with business needs.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Monitor project performance and report progress to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Train and support end-users to ensure seamless adoption of NetSuite Cloud across all departments.
- Facilitate data migration, system testing, and go-live activities to ensure a smooth transition.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices for ERP implementation and IT transformation.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT transformation projects, specifically ERP migrations.
- Strong expertise in implementing NetSuite Cloud ERP.
- Good understanding of WMS, B2B, and B2C processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects across multiple countries with diverse regulatory requirements.
- Experience in data migration, system integration, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe as needed for project implementation.
