A client within the Public Sector based in Lincolnshire is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their Transformation team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a transformation and service redesign environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to take a leading role in the implementation and delivery of the council’s transformation priorities, including service redesign and corporate programmes. This includes co-ordinating and managing complex and innovative change projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leading and co-ordinating a range of complex transformation projects and programmes
  • Developing business cases, including financial modelling and benefits strategies
  • Ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and project governance
  • Managing risk, change, and communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Acting as an ambassador for service redesign and user-centred design approaches
  • Line managing support staff and leading multi-disciplinary teams

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require:

  • A Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince 2, APM) or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Proven experience managing large-scale transformation or service redesign programmes
  • Knowledge of project governance and assurance within local authority settings

  • Expertise in business analysis and benefits realisation
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £26 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £20 per hour PAYE).
